Otodus obliquus Pathological Tooth #2
Otodus obliquus was a large mackerel shark from the Eocene (60 million years ago). This tooth is from the phosphate deposits of Morocco. This is a pathologically deformed tooth where the tip split into two tips instead of one. Tooth measures 2 1/4 inches. One cusp is present but very small, the other appears to have not developed. There is some putty fill in some cracks around the missing cusp. I will include a 3D Black floating frame similar to the example shown in picture here.
