Otodus obliquus Pathological Tooth #3
Otodus obliquus was a large mackerel shark from the Eocene (60 million years ago). This tooth is from the phosphate deposits of Morocco. This is a pathologically deformed tooth where the tip split into two tips instead of one. Tooth measures just over 2 inches. Unfortunately there is a lot of root damage that has been filled with putty. The fill is easy to recognize in the pictures as it is the tan/brown section. The natural root is white. I will include a 3D Black floating frame similar to the example shown in picture here.
