Mosasaur Vertebra-Morocco #2

This piece consists of 4 large articulated Mosasaur vertebra from the Cretaceous phosphate beds in Morocco.  The vertebra are in the natural matrix and I have saturated this piece with a stabilizer.  The matrix is very friable and fragile but it becomes very solid when adding the stabilizer.  I purchased this piece field prepped and partially jacketed and did the final preparation myself so can guarantee the authenticity.  Bone from the phosphate beds is very fragile.  There is a partial paddle bone visible on the back.  Piece measures  approximately 14 inches by 9.5 inches.
