Ptychodus mortoni #1

This is a nice  Ptychodus mortoni tooth measuring just at 7/8" at maximum width.  The tooth is complete but the enamel has been partially bleached.  See high resolution pictures for details. The tooth is from the Cretaceous age Niobrara chalk of western Kansas.  This is a tooth we have collected ourselves.
